Got your Hippa thing down, we have opted out 3 wks ago and waiting for addy updates before assualt.

Since I (not DW) had Lexington LF in 05 most meds were verified, though I never recieved anything from anyone or any CA as to verify/validate diddly, except from CRA's ON OCCASSION, just saying verified.

Further note: we never recieved any bills for this either from OC or Dunns from CA.
This is all from surgery (DW) in 2001, no insurance, I did not sign anything other than noted as emergency contact. Note : We moved from that State in 02.

Update: On reciept of our HC CR's, most TLs are mirrored but diff CA names, and some diff dates. Most TL's have "due to fall off in 08" noted. These multipal entries have not helped our scores for a mortgage pursuit.

Will my " previously verified" status put a curve in the process? DW has over 19 meds on 1 CR some are duplicates can I include ALL meds in process/ I.E. 1 complaint? to each CRA.

Since I used a credit repair agency prior to CB, I don't have any paper trail from prior dispute's..( Ya'll can whip me later)...

92 has helped with questions while you were out, but I have since found this out with new HC CR's
Thanks for any thought. and hope you have a super day.

Previous verified should not be a problem nor the credit agency. Read post #7 and #9.

Do not have any non medical disputes active with the CRA's
PRE HIPAA LETTER MEDICAL DISPUTE

You dispute medical accounts this way:

Dear CRA,
My name is xxxxx xxxxxx , my SS # is xxx xx xxxx.
I am sending this dispute certified mail # xxxx to make sure you receive it.
I have no knowledge or records of account # xxxxx on my report # xxxxx.
Please advise me as to the name and address of the medical provider, the date and type of service, and to whom the service was provided.
If you can obtain this information, I also would need the name of the person providing this data, and the manner in which it was provided in order that I may pursue additional legal remedies.
Very truly yours,

xxxxxx
Make sure you HAND ADDRESS the envelope, use personalized stationery and purple or teal font, ( preferably italic).

DO NOT send it RR -WAIT FOR THE FULL RESPONSE FROM THE CRA BEFORE CONTINUING WITH THE HIPAA LETTER PROCESS

I have NO IDEA what a "HC CR's" is.
If this is a service that supplies 3rd party credit reports then I suggest STRONGLY that you obtain your credit reports DIRECTLY from each of the CRA's before doing ANY disputing as these 3rd party services are NOT accurate and will have MUCH different entries than the direct from the source reports.

As to your other questions, IMO nothing you did with any credit repair outfit such as Lexington should have any effect on what you do now.

The BASIS of all of my "programs" is that they take FULL advantage of FACTA which provides an "edge" for consumer disputes. ( which is why I suggest non scannable disputes and no RR to the CRA's)

Hi WHYCHAT
Thanks for your quick attention, "HC CR's" sorry, Hard Copy Credit Reports, I had been getting mine from my fico.com but ordered them direct from CRA's as 94B suggested. Alot more info on them for sure.

I currently have no active disputes all done in 05 by Lexington.

So I will proceed, once I get addyy's back, with your program.

Thanks for the link, I thought I had read all your post, heck even posted a couple times biggrin.gif

I think you should be deemed Chanceller WHYCHAT

Thanks agian

Why purple and teal font in italic? Does this confuse their encoding of the dispute?

It makes it more difficult for the automatic scanners to read. If they can scan it into their system, it gets read by a computer system, not a person.

Why Chat, 94B??

another question pleaze, Will it make any differance if our meds "pre-date" hippa policy, most are dated in 2002, was Hippa inacted in 03?

I had no luck with exp and addys, alittle better with the other 2, but not what I really needed so far.

Thanks

The HIPAA letter program was designed for accounts that "pre-date" the enactment of HIPAA.

Have you sent the medical dispute letters yet??

If I can hijack just for a second. Getting your credit reports from www.myfico.com is a no no? If so then what is the best method to get each individual CR?
