Full Version: Regions Bank...
CreditBoards > Financing > Student Loans

My husband has several different student loans, originally with Regions Bank, and has recently graduated and consolidated with another company. Regions has every loan he has taken out over the past ten years (graduate school) listed on his credit report. My question is, can I dispute the Regions accounts since they are no longer open. None of them have a payment history as my husband was in school and in deferment the whole time. There are about ten of them and it looks realy confusing because they all say transferred. We will be shopping for a new house soon and I just wanted the reports to be as clean as possible. Thanks for any advice.

Nothing you can do about this...this is how student loans report. Your mortgage company should be knowledgeable enough to figure this out for themselves.
