I just noticed how my SL is reporting on my report. It's a closed/paid account that was never in default/etc.

Balance: $0 $0
Type: Unknown - credit extension, review, or collection
Pay Status: Current


Is the Unknown Type huring me? Just curious.

Not hurting at all. It shows you had a loan, you paid on it, was never late and you finished it. Should be positive all the way.

I have the same question I had six separate loans (one for very year in college) and I was making one payment. I recently refinanced and see only one loan in my credit report and now all my previous loans say:

Ctgy: Student Loan
Refinanced
Account in dispute-reported by subscriber
Refinanced
Student Loan

I never disputed them, I know they are mine. Is this hurting me or not?
