Ok, I have had two Student loans, one paid off., and the other still is being paid off. My question is they are listed more than once on my CR's. Can I write them and tell them that they are all from two loans and not 4 as listed? I looked in the letter section and could not find one.

Thanks,

Ok...we need more information. Were these defaulted?? Were they sold or transfered say from bank to a servicer like Salliemae?? There are a lot of circumstances where loans will be transfered or sold, leaving multiple tradelines. The older lines should reflect a zero balance. This is totally normal.

One I defaulted on and paid in full over 3 years ago. The other is current. The defaulted one is listed with the org company( I think ASFA) and the other one is Sallie Mae.

It sounds like your loans are reporting correctly. Defaults always will have 2 tradelines with the lender/servicer and guarantor reporting.
