Hi. I am transferring to a different college for Fall 2007. I currently have Stafford loans, but I am going to need a private loan because the college I am transferring to is private. Tuition is approximately $12,000 a year for actual tuition. I will also need money for books and stuff. When should I apply for the loan if I am to start in the Fall and when should I apply if I decide to start in the Summer? Also, where do you think I should apply? My scores are pretty much 630 across all three reports.
