I'm finally finishing rehab of my SL, which is the BEST thing I could have done!! I'm wondering though, once the default notations are removed what effects score-wise can be expected, if any? I do realize that the default and only the default gets removed. I was just wondering what others have found once these are removed.

Thanks, TxQuiltGirl. I'm not really so concerned with actual points. Luckily I was able to obtain my mortgage with it showing in default - I just needed to show canceled checks and rehab app. Odd thing, the DOE default TL had sat unchanged for a long time. Once I started my rehab payments, a couple of months later they started updating it each month to the current balance (still showing derogatory, default as of). I did lose a few points the first month they did this. I'm just ready to see the TL GONE!! Somehow, my Sally Mae TL's over the years have switched to current, never late (although do show some lates from long ago). The DOE default is one of my last baddies and just looking forward to it being removed.

Yeah, something like that actually.
