I filled out the online app for the tuition answer loan, as well as including my co-borrower information on that app. I logged in just now to check the status and this is the message i got:

"Your Sallie Mae Tuition Answer Loan application has been credit approved on the condition that you add a creditworthy coborrower on your application.
To receive any funds, you need to find a coborrower, complete the application and return a promissory note signed by both you and your coborrower."

Does this mean approved for sure??? or just a preapproval? I know Sallie has already pulled my CR but i don't know if they have pulled my co-borrowers CR.

Also why does it ask me to "find a co-borrower" when i already included a co-borrower on the original online app???

Yea.....why didn't i think of that...............it was kinda late last night when i posted this and customer service was closed for the day.


Was a little anxious, thats why i posted this to see if anyone else has gotten this same message. But i guess since they're open now i can call.
