Rural Metro Ambulance is listing a Paid Collection Account on my Ex Reports. Its due to come off in about a year but when I dispute they validate.

Heres the cut and pasteed report -account number

Original Creditor: Rural Metro Ambulance
Status: Paid, Closed/collection Account
Date Opened: 4/2001
Date Reported: 9/2001
Last Reported: 4/2002
Credit Limit/Original Amount $110

Status: THis Item was Verified on Mar 2005 and remained Unchainged.

I've Sent Good Faith Letters and was Denied, I then sent Disputes to the CRA's and the account was Verified. Havent touched it since March of 05. I need this off and it's reporting Correctly.

What happened was they billed my Auto Ins for the claim and got paid under PIP, but they never billed my supplimental Ins through my employer and I didn't notice until it was too late. I paid the bill in 2002 when I got the first collection letter.

Is this covered under HIPPA because its listed as an Ambulance Charge (see company name)? OR if not anyone have any suggestions on how to resolve my problem?

Since it is an ambulance service it should be handled using HIPAA
