5-6 month's ago I applied and got approved for a 4000.00, 2000.00, and 1500.00 student loan from Citibank, Federal Stafford. I applied yesterday for 1500.00 and was denied due to bad credit. My credit report is exactly the same as before when I applied exept my scores are a little higher and alot more baddies are gone. Anyone know where I can apply for a student loan without a co-signer (b/c i dont got one.) with bad credit? I have bk7 also.

Federal loans are not credit based. If you're looking for private loans, you will likely need a co-signer.

Exactly. I defaulted on Citi accounts ( not that I'm proud of it or anything, it's just what ended up happening 4-5 years ago), but I have gotten several Citi Student Loans and Consolidation loans- since they are Federal Stafford and credit doesnt matter.
