Full Version: can you get approved for consolidation if you are in rehab?

Long story short in order to avoid garnishment I agreed to start rehab, (this was done after I had applied through wm. d ford for consolidation). My CA told me you can't be in both. Does this mean they won't sign the paperwork? Right now consolidation is the better deal for me...

I think what the CA meant was you can't consolidate and then expect the benefits of rehab. I don't know why you wouldn't be able to consolidate now though ...

OK hope they don't get mad. I've made one voluntary agreed on payment, another will occur next week. I'm thinking the third will happen right around the time they get my consolidation paperwork. Then I will have made the three voluntary payments and will meet the letter of the law with regard to eligibility! Hopefully they will sign
