What is a good company to consolidate my loans with? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We don't give recs here ... you would want to make a decision based upon the backdoor perks that make the most sense to you.

Good luck!

Depending on who your loans are with now, you may not have much choice. Single lender rule requires that you consolidate with your current lender or Direct Loans. If your loans are currently Direct Loans, you can only consolidate with Direct Loans.

hmmm, single lender rule?

my wife and i consolidated in 99' all of our loans with direct loans (7% i think). Since that time, I went back to school for a masters, now I have loans with wells fargo.

Can I consolidate still?

Assuming that your loans with WF are government-backed loans, you can either consolidate with WF or with Direct Loans. Your interest rate will be the weighted average of all of your loans.

Hope this helps! Good luck!!

so i can take my already consolidated direct loan and put it with my WF loans to make one BIG CONSOLIDATED LOAN?
