What if a CA sends you information regarding medical bills (what the visit was for/personal information) when you never requested it?
No DV, No dispute.............they just send it to you in a collection letter.

Is this a HIPAA violation?

I don't know if this response is correct but if not then I am hoping Whychat will correct me. I would say there is NO HIPAA violation for services that were rendered and for which you OWE the bill.
