Yesterday I opened a T. Rowe Price accout using the Automatic Asset Builder program.

Can one of the veterans tell me if I will be able to make additional deposits at will.

I don't see why not, You should be able to simply log in and make a purchase. TRowe is VERY customer focused.

I started an TRowePrice IRA account last year and they are awesome. To make more purchases all you have to do is log in and click on purchase funds. They will use the banking information from when you signed up. Their customer service department is AWESOME. Hope this helps. biggrin.gif

I know that it helps sway my decision. DW has a 401k from a previous job that we are going to roll into an IRA. I was leaning towards T Rowe but I will fill out the paperwork tonight. Thank you very much.

Did they pull a hard when you applied for the IRA last year?

Sorry to pull up another old post, but for any others reading through I wanted to add on to this with some knowledge from the inside.

If you open an account with TRP and you add banking information there is a 15 day ACH maintenance period on the account in which you won't be able to purchase or redeem online. During this period you will need to call and speak with an account rep to do these transactions. After this 15 day period you will be able to log in and do purchases and redemptions online at will.

If you turn off the AAB on the account it will also set off a 15 day ACH maintenance date, same scenario above.

When you open the account the account online, the service we use to do the electonic verification does not do a hard pull.

Hope this helps.
