i live in florida.
i'm about to send off an initial
dispute for a medical collection
following why chat's instructions.
any reason to include a copy of my drivers license?
i just want to do this properly.

IMO, it might be to verify that the person requesting this info is the person who it belongs to?? (patient confidentiality).. dunno.. just wild guessing for a bump!

Are you asking if you should send a copy of your DL along with your medical dispute. I don't believe Whychat suggests that. Because in the dispute you're already giving your name and SSN. Just follow his instructions to the T and if it doesn't say include a copy of DL then you shouldn't. I send out Medical dispute following Whychat's HIPAA process and I just did the letter he says and send it CM. Please wait for the Verification you requested usually takes 35 days before continuing to the next step.
