If you read Whychat's HIPAA process you will see that includes paid medical as well its one of the inserts either b or c.The first thing you need to do though is the medical dispute that he suggests even if it's already paid, A simple medical dispute like the one Whychat suggest might get those taken care of if not then you can continue with the rest of the HIPAA process. Once you send the medical dispute CM to CRA's make sure you wait the 35 days(if you got report from CRA's)or 45-50 days (free anual report) before proceeding to the next step. Whychat does a great job of the step by step process of explaining, you may need to read it again.

Does anyone know if there is any way to get medicals off my credit report that have already been paid? I paid most off in 2002, On Experian I have 5, TU 10 and EQ shows 13. Since most of these do not even show the original creditor, DOS or anything.. just name of creditor and paid.. no amounts ( I knew at one time..

), so I don't know that the HIPPA letter would work??? I don't know how to go about getting them off before they age??? These were ligit debts that my ex took in divorce but did not pay.. so I did.
Thanks for any advice
