I called my school today and they were going to fax a Verification of Enrollment to my SL servicer for my original loans. How long does it typically take for the servicer to place these loans into deferment?

I have never requested a deferment before.

I really don't remember but wanted to say CONGRATS! It's fun to go back to school. I appreciated it a lot more the second time around, a little bit of a break from the real world...

Hmm If I can remember it was almost instant when I did it, didnt take any time at all...I would def call you SL servicer though to make sure they got it and it didnt get "lost".....COngrats on going back to school I am still trying to decide if I want to go back for my Masters or another Undergrad degree.
