Here's my situation:

I'm a 19 year old college student, I didn't qualify for financial aid, but learned that I filled it out wrong so i reapplied, but I need money soon. I was wondering if there was a company out there that could give me a loan based with what I have:
- little to no credit
- I have a co-signer with decent credit
- Part-time job making only about $15k a year

Im looking for a loan that would have the check sent directly to me. Thank you in advance.

I don't know of any company that is going to send the check directly to you. As a matter of course, the funds would go to the college, then anything left over would be given to you by the school.

There are many private SL lenders out there. You can do a search here and come up with Sallie Mae and Citi, just to name a couple.

The only education related loan I'm aware of that doesn't require school certification and sends the check payable to you is Bank of America.
The money is available for anything "education related", including travel to and from home, living expenses, etc.
Look for their "education advantage" program, hopefully I'm remembering the name and details of it properly...

You have to have:
Decent credit
at least 2 years employment history
at least 2 years credit history
or a cosigner who does.
copy of a paycheck stub
copy of a tuition bill or class schedule to prove you are actually going to school.

It's a one-time payout. If you need more,( such as for additional semesters) you have to reapply.
