I have a defaulted student loan that was paid in full to the state of florida. There are two negative trade lines attached to this loan. The origonal creditor ,Suntrust, and the FL dept of education. Suntrust trade line shows closed paid after charge off. FL dept of edu. shows paid collection account. Is it correct to have two trade lines attached to the same loan? Can I get one of the trade lines deleted?

This reporting is standard on defaulted student loans. Legally neither have to be deleted although a goodwill letter is worth a shot!
