My ex-husband (we were divorced 9/2001 after 5 years marriage) has "disappeared" and apparently did so owing tons of money, not just to me in child support but to everyone else. I get constant calls from collectors. He has never lived in my current house, and he has never had my current phone number (I moved after the divorce). A couple collectors told me he used my information, and a couple told me they called me using a skip-trace.

My problem is that once they call I cannot get them to stop. I will tell them I do not know where he is, and I will even refer them to our County Attorney, but all they do is put me on a automatic calling system that calls me night and day. If I do end up talking to someone, they will not give me their adddress and phone number since I am not the person they are seeking. Sometimes I cannot call them back at the numbers they are using.

Is there something I can add to my credit reports that indicates that I am divorced and do not know where my XH is? And that he owes me over $10K in child supporrt, so that if I did know where he was, everyone else would have to wait in line? I hate this harrassment, but do not want to pay for or have an unlisted number.

Any help would be appreciated.
