Just pulled all 3 of my FICOS, and my 3 student loans are all reporting NEGATIVE information to my bureaus from 3 years ago. My lowest score was TRANS UNION. Ive got 3 accounts that list "NEGATIVE ITEMS"
3 of the items are from my student loans, 3 different loans, that I was 120 days late paying on them back in 2002 because I didnt know the repayment had already started since i recently moved and wasnt getting any mail--can anything be done about that? Since then ive been perfect, paid each ontime, and never missed a day. Just wondering if anything can be done to fix/doctor those 3 lates that are being reported negative. thanks

Well, you can send a dispute to the CRA stating "never late" and see if that takes care of the problem. Or you can send a goodwill letter to whomever is reporting the lates and ask for pity.

You can do a search for a "goodwill" letter. There is probably one somewhere in the newbie forum. But if it were me, I'd START with disputing it with the CRAs.
Good luck.
