I have been really careful to use my cc for gas purchases. If the gas station does get into trouble for gouging, can I request a charge back for the overage? Like, gas is $3.25/gallon now. If the govenor says they can't charge above $3/gallon, can I ask that the 25 cents/gallon be charged back?

you can ask for anything.. whether you get it is another story.. but do file the complaint.

if you thought you were paying $3 a gallon and they charged you $3.25 that would be one thing, but that's not the case so I don't think that will work sorry

I can verify its a law. I think I would pursue it. plus it will teach the merchant a lesson.

(EVEN "IF" THEY DO WATCH TV...YOU HAVE 100-200 (or more) CHANNELS...WHAT CHANNEL WAS IT ANNOUNCED ON??? WERE THEY WATCHING???)

YOU WOULD HAVE TO CONFIRM THE GAS STATION WAS NOTIFIED BY ANOTHER WAY...

AND THEY HAD KNOWLEDGE...

AND THEY CHOSE TO NOT ACT ON THE INFORMATION...
