We were at Wal Mart in Trumann, AR, which is a little hick town (it was a super Wal Mart that closes, not open 24/7). I bought less than $2 worth of stuff and they asked for my ID when I used my card. I was using my B of A card with my pic on it, so I showed her the pic and that was fine, but SHEESH. $2?????
[b]Must be a "LOCAL" thing because it is
NOT POLICY TO ASK FOR ID ON A SIGNED CARD (especially one with a PICTURE)
**I have had some Wal-Marts ask for ID and some that don't. As a general concept (in all stores, not just W-M), it does seem to be gaining momentum.
BETTER
NOT BE GAINING!!!
Oh it's gaining baby! as Kramer would say.
Use my tractor supply card today, the lady turned her head to help someone with some O'Roy and I got the card swiped and back in pocket before she saw it. She turned around asked for my PO number and BANG I'm done. No signature check no ID check, What's the world coming to?
"GAINING" as in more, and more places asking for
ID on a signed credit card...
IT BETTER NOT BE GAINING!!!
