I have a lot of late payments on my CR for student loans. Some are with Sallie Mae, some are with ACS and AMS. Some state that they have been transferred. I am now current on all of them but was wondering if there was a way to remove the late payments.

I just read a post in the credit section about someone getting student loan lates removed...its on page 1 or 2 today...

I have successfully had 120 lates removed from my credit reports. After applying for a mortgage and noticing that my defaulted loans that were consildated back in 2002 were still being reported 120 lates up until July. I paid to have them rescored and fought with the agencies to have them properly reported. Now here is the kicker, the removed the 120 lates - but listed the defaults as a charge of account as of july 2005. I am now fighting to get that information reporting accurately since they were a charge off back in 2002 not 2005. Hope that offers some help.
