Full Version: DCU Used Auto Loan

My husband and I were recently approved a used auto loan through DCU and we found a 2002 Ford F150 XL that we would like to purchase. The dealer gave us the Purchase and Sales form, so I faxed that along with copies of our drivers licenses and our most recent pay stubs to DCU this morning.

My question is, does anyone know how long it will take DCU to process everything? I live and work close to DCU branches and I'm almost wondering if it would have been faster for me to just have gone into a branch to finalize everything. We were hoping to pick up the truck either late today or tomorrow.

Thanks!

Go to the branch. I just did a used car loan with them and it took 15 days. The loan people are real good, but the membership people cannot seem to get anything right. Also, go equipped with every piece of ID you can find. They will always ask for more.

Thanks! I just called and told them to disregard my fax because I was going to come in person today instead with my husband. We are members of DCU, so hopefully they won't ask for anything additional.

IMO best to go in person to the local branch.
