My BK 7 was discharged July 4...

I need to get in contact with the holders of my SL's to work out repayment plans.
Sallie Mae- Loans were in forbearance, but this was extended during my BK, wasn't allowed to consolidate. Now that I'm discharged, I would like to consolidate.

TG- 1 little loan was in garnishment- BK stopped the garnishment and now I would like to begin rehab...how soon should I get this started?

How long is it before they are notified of the discharge? Is it OK if I contact them first? I really want to stay on top of things this time around... smile.gif

DUH, answered my own question on the Sallie Mae's...

How about TG though? Same thing? Should I call anyway? My thinking is if I call, that will be recorded in my file...And if I send in a payment, maybe it won't count directly to rehab, but maybe a little "goodwill" will go a long way?
