I am sending my paperwork for AWG hearing to avoid Wage garnishment. I am offering to pay what i can afford. if they accept my hearing and my payments will they report my payment to the CRAs? Notsure if AWG agreements are the thesame as rehab. I just would like to repay my loans with out the hassel from the the collector.
I am assuming that you have included a statement of income and expenses. They will look at all reasonable expenses like mtg/rent, utilities, food, living expenses, daycare, car payment and insurances. They will look at what you are offering and determine if it is reasonable and affordable. High car payments on recent car purchases and really high mortgage payments are frowned upon. I remember several cases I worked on that that had recent car purchases, one being a $30k new car purchases with a $600/month payment. That was not deemed acceptable particularly when the borrower was offering $50 on a 10 year old default. They are usually however quite reasonable at looking at expenses.
Since you are in default, your payments will not be reported to the CRA's.
Payments to qualify for rehab have to be reasonable and affordable. Bring it up at your telephone hearing.
