I need to figure this one out. Everyone says that Sallie Mae is impossible to work with, as no one gets them to make any changes. I thought I could be an anomaly of sorts, but so far, I have been sadly mistaken. As my timeframe for credit repair ticks down, I am growing weary. SL's are IMPOSSIBLE!

I have disputed with the CRA's as "not mine", and I have disputed with SM to no avail. I do not know what else to do with ALL of the numerous lates I have on 3 TL's. TU and EX are a mess. EQ, however, for some reason, is clean as a whistle.

(I pray they leave it alone.)

Some of my lates are reported during times of forbearance, but SM says nope, not going AWAY! I am considering sending the letters of evidence to EX and TU, but I am afraid that they will simply check with SM, and they will remain the same.

I need to know what laws govern SL's specifically so that I can read these and try to get these fixed. Otherwise, I am @ a loss. Does anyone have an email to any of the "higher-ups" @ SM? What else can I do? I'm getting desperate... dntknw.gif

Good Luck. SM is VERY hard to deal with. With me they even admit thier errors, yet they still arnt fixed after more than 2 years!
I need to send them a good ITS letter,,, but dont know if that will work with them either.
Some companys are just so huge that they think that they are above the law.
It is very frustrating.
When you are in forbearance, you have no payments due so how could you be late?
They marked my credit report as late while in deferment, and AFTER the loan was paid in full! THey admit that after a loan is paid off you shouldnt have to make payments on it.. so how could I have been 90 and 120 days late? Yet they dont change it.
Good luck
