Thanks everyone for the support. I went ahead and called both numbers are here is what happened: This number didn't work The first lady was very polite and told me that her department is responsible for CLI and new accounts. Not closed accounts. However, she transferred me to someone who possibly can re-open my account. After I was transferred to this new CSR, she told me that my account could not be opened and the only way to ask for an appeal was write to Chase Card Services. Chase Card Services PO Box 15298 Wilmington DE 19850-5298 I also asked her for the executive office address which is in Illinois, she said I should write to the Chase Card Services address (Corporate Department) and not the executive office address. If this is bad advice please let me know so I'll mail to the corporate address instead. She also said the executive office has no direct number so if someone knows please share it and I'll give them a try before I write the letter.

K to elaborate, I have the Chase letter in front of me: ".... after careful consideration, we have elected not to renew your account. the principal reasons: 1. Bankcard balance grew too fast compared to credit limit & time on file 2. too few accts with time on file greater than 36 months 3. total available credit on bankcards is too low" And yes, I do have a balance of around 8800 and only like 200 of credit available so my utilization is extremely high. My overall revolving % is also very high on my credit profile > 85%. Besides the high balances, I do not have any negatives on any of my accounts. I DO plan on having my balance reduced to ZERO in 3-6 months... I've had this Chase account for 3-4 years with a perfect payment record and when my credit card expired they basically are deciding not to renew my account. Given my circumstances, do you guys still think I should try to write a letter and talk to the credit department to get my account opened? Its worth trying, right??

Reason for closed account: Too high of a balance to Credit Limit. I called Chase to try to get my account re-opened since I have perfect history with all my accounts. I told her many people re-open their accounts and she replied saying you can only re-open an account that you have closed yourself. If Chase decides to close your account, there is nothing anyone can do to re-open it. I then asked well, if I can't re-open my account, at least let me change some of my terms. (Lower interest rate or min payments) And she replied that a closed accounts terms are final and cannot be changed. Are these things true?

Are you aware that the SF biz card reports to personal credit? If you are approved for both, you may want to consider combining the credit lines into personal account (for the consumer credit protections available) and closing the biz account. Are you saying StateFarm Biz card reports to personal? Is this for everyone? or only when u make a late payments, etc... Yes, as of late last year, SF biz reports to personal for everybody. Same for Discover biz (about the same time frame last year) and now Cap1 biz is following suit. Thanks for the info. I was just approved for a State Farm Biz Card last week. Do you know when it will start reporting to personal? I am hoping 30 days, but new Juniper accounts start to report immediately.... -

The Biz Preferred No Hassle Miles has a generous limit if your scores are good. They go up to $25000 without doc or up to $50000 if you have perfect credit, and are willing to provide tax returns. On the personal side, the Capital One Platinum Prestige has high limits. My wife has one with a limit of $22500, her highest limit. Biz preferred no hassles miles, Is this card inquiry sensitive? and Which bureau/s do they pull? -
Would it go back to the way it was? Or would it show up on your credit report's history that you've frozen your credit report on x/2009 etc etc. Example: Let's say I freeze Experian in November and then permanently unfreeze it in December. Would my Experian report show any credit freeze history? Any flags/consequences? www.experian.com/freeze/

I'm looking for Credit Unions that grant generous amount for loans, high credit limits credit cards, easiest to qualify for VS stricter criteria. Ex: Grants generous amount for loans, high credit limits credit cards, lenient criteria VS strict/conservative. I also just started a business this year and so I can only provide pay stubs (no 1040's / W2's yet), are there Credit Unions that will work with me and still grant me credit cards + loans with pay stubs / no docs? I have a great credit score and my history shows I can pay on time etc. I am hearing a lot of good things with Alliant CU, Navy Federal CU, USAA CU (Although I am not sure how generous NAVY and USAA are for non-military members..) Any others out there?

Does anyone know what is the easiest type of unsecured loan to qualify for? 1. loan from Bank (Discover loan, Citi, etc) 2. loan from Small community bank 3. loan from Credit Union? 4. Peer2Peer loan (Ex: lendingclub.com, prosper.com) 5. Any others that are easier to qualify for? 6. I've also received an "invitation" from Discover for a personal loan from $5,000 to $25,000, are these easy to qualify for? My credit scores: Experian 768, Equifax, 780, Transunion 773 Household income $200K about 11 revoling credit card accounts (Lowest card $500, Highest card $45K) Credit utilization is about 25% 0 active installment loans Any input would help as I could really use a personal loan esp to help balance my credit profile, Thanks
