I did this before with a previous application where they send texts to your phone with status of application. I can't seem to find it anywhere on the site. Does anyone know where it is located?

Please delete I put this in wrong forum. TY

Ok I will keep an eye out for the letter. It will come to my parent's house because they do not have my current address; although I do not know why they have my parent's address seeing I haven't lived there in over 6 years but I will wait and see. Thanks

Lol you probably did. When the rep was like Maam I am trying to help you out here and you refuse to listen to me. I said there is nothing you could possibly do to help me out bc it is not my debt so put your supervisor on the phone. So when he comes on the phone and tries belittling me by saying I must not know how the system works since I asked to speak with him I had to make sure to tell him the only reason I asked to speak with you is so that you do not call my house anymore is that understood. I said you are way past the SOL and once again this is not my account so do not call me about it again. He said I don't think you understand so I said no sir you are the one that doesn't understand so let me say it one more time: If you call my house again I will call the police and file harassment charges. Lets see if I get another phone call. I even called my mother and said Mom have you received any mail for me from Portfolio or capital one and she said no nothing has come here. Looked up my reports and portfolio hasn't done any sort of pull on my reports nor is there a collection from them. I completely understand that they think they are doing their job but to harass and scream at someone is totally uncalled for.

I am sitting in my house watching tv when I get a call from a number in Virginia so I answer it and its Portfolio saying they are trying to collect a debt for Capital one from a card opened in 2/2002 and charged off in 10/2002. I tell them I currently have one capital one account that is open and paid in full and never had another one and during that time period they list I was not even in CT because I was in college in Buffalo, NY. So I ask to speak to a supervisor which makes the rep mad. I speak to the supervisor and ask why are they calling me when that is not my debt. He says it has my name, my parent's address, my ssn, and my DOB so it is mine. I ask him even if it is my debt when is the last time there was any activity on the card and he said they charged it off 10/2002. So I said even if it was my debt which it is not the SOL has passed and do not contact me anymore concerning this bc it is not my debt. He is yelling and screaming telling me I don't know what I am talking about and if I did I wouldn't have asked to speak to a supervisor so I tell him I am quite well versed in how collections work and if hey call my house again I will call the police and tell them they are harassing me. He is yelling and screaming so I hang up the phone and call capital one who said oh we only see one account for you the one you currently have open so I say is there a way to search to see if I ever had any other accounts and he transfers me to a dept who tells me in fact that I did have a capital one account that was charged off in 2002. So I tell him this is not my debt and why is a company trying to collect a supposed debt from 2002 from me that is not mine. he tells me to call back Portfolio and open a dispute with them. My questions are: 1. Do I need to open a dispute since this debt is from 2002 and I do not want to do anything to re age the account especially since it is not mine? 2. I have had my phone number for 3 years and been in this house for almost 2 years and since I put my parents on as AUs I am now getting some of their collections sent to m address. Could this somehow inadvertently been put on as my account? Disregard this. I just checked my mother's credit report and her capital one account is from 2005-2009 so this is a completely different account. 3. Do I need to do a debt validation or send a cease and desist letter to them because I check my credit reports often and there is no collection from capital one on there? Thank you,

Do you have symptoms of interstitial cystitis. It is also called painful bladder syndrome. What is interstitial cystitis? For many years Interstitial Cystitis (IC) was thought to be a chronic bacterial infection. The theory was that the bacteria would be present under the epithelium, and become resistant to normal antibiotic treatment. Since the bladder is part of the urinary tract system IC was managed in the past by urologists, but they seemed to have treated this disease as a stepchild, and ignored it to a great degree. We now know that IC is part of an immune system dysfunction that allows the protective coating of the bladder to be denuded in small areas. The protective coating (glycosaminoglycanmucus-mucin layer) allows the urine to sit in the bladder for hours without causing any symptoms. When this layer is missing, the underlying cells can become irritated. Symptoms The symptoms of IC can vary greatly. The most common symptoms are blood in the urine (hematuria), pain with intercourse (dyspareunia), pelvic pain, pain with urination (dysuria), and back pain. Many women with IC urinate frequently during the day and night (nocturia). In a few patients, the symptoms can be so severe that travel outside of their home is impossible. They urinate as often as every five minutes. An analogy to why IC causes pain is to look at a baby in diapers. When the baby urinates it often smiles, but think of a baby with diaper rash. When the baby urinates it doesn’t smile. In fact it cries. This is because urine is an irritant. Urine contains many byproducts of waste, especially potassium. Potassium is most likely the cause of irritation in the bladder. Symptoms seem to increase when allergy seasons occur, or when the patient eats foods rich in potassium. Who gets interstitial cystitis? It is unknown how many undiagnosed cases of interstitial cystitis may be present in the gynaecologic pelvic pain population [2], but newer data shows the prevalence may be as high as 25% of women [3]. Some studies have shown a link with endometriosis [1], and IC has been labeled as “The Evil Twin”. 80-90% of women with endometriosis have been identified with IC. This may help explain why some patients treated for endometriosis have not had relief from pain after surgical and medical therapies. Diagnosis Diagnosis can be difficult, since some symptoms can be so mild that patients may not realise they have IC. When a woman suspects she may have IC, she should go to a specialist that deals with pelvic pain and endometriosis. Just as urologists have ignored IC, so have most gynaecologists. Two ways to diagnose IC are: 1. By cystoscopy (a camera in the bladder)<br style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; ">2. By PST (potassium sensitivity test) A cystoscopy is performed in the hospital as an outpatient procedure. The patient is asleep, and the bladder is overdistended with fluid while the camera is in place. As the bladder is drained, small bleeding areas will occur on the surface of the bladder. A biopsy can be performed at this time that may help in the diagnosis of IC. When blood is in the urine, this procedure helps confirm that a more serious problem doesn’t exist. The PST is performed in the office while the patient is awake. A very small catheter is placed in the bladder, and a small amount of water is placed in the bladder. Even with IC this should not cause any pain. The water is drained from the bladder, and a new solution containing potassium is placed in the bladder. A normal bladder will not respond to this solution, but a patient with IC will experience pain or discomfort. If pain is felt, a rescue solution is immediately placed in the bladder to numb the bladder. Treatments There are, and always have been, many ways to try and treat IC. Early methods were permanent oral antibiotics and DMSO (dimethyl sulfoxide). A few patients responded to those treatments, but success was not overwhelming. In mild cases, some patients respond to Detrol and Ditropan. The treatment that seems to have the greatest response is called Elmiron (related to Heparin, a blood thinner). This medication allows the coating of the bladder to regenerate. The patient may not see a response for three to six months, and the medication is relatively expensive. An antihistamine is also given to help diminish the release of histamine, especially during pollen season. The medicines may need to be taken forever, but when they work relief can be dramatic. A helpful diet is one that is low in potassium. Foods high in potassium include: tomatoes, pineapple, chocolate, and Jalapeno peppers. If symptoms persist, then pain clinics and surgical options are available, but these are last step approaches. Self help groups Endometriosis patients have self help groups that can provide information and research, and the same is true for IC patients, where the Interstitial Cystitis Association’s websiteprovides lots of useful information. Hopefully, as more patients and physicians become aware of IC, more studies will be done to help diagnose and treat the IC patients.

Carecredit is very liberal for limits when you first open it but as times goes by they are not so nice with wanting an increase. I first applied due to needing dental work in 2010 or so and asked for $8000 and received it. I called last month just wanting to increase it by 1500 or so because I need a procedure done that will take up a lot of the limit and they declined and told me I can speak to a credit rep.

I don't know how many people took advantage but ING was having a black friday sale where if you signed up for an elecrtric orange checking account and make 5 purchases you will receive an $107 bonus by 1/17/2012. Well I just looked and my bonus is there. You all may want to check if you signed up for it.

I just counted and I have like 10 which has wreaked havoc on my AAOA. It sounds like a no brainer but I may need to bypass it. -
I swear I am supposed to be in gardening mode but its like the credit card Gods know. Today I opened up a preapproved offer from merrick bank. Nothing special. Guaranteed $900 limit and after 7 on time payments it will automatically increase to $1800. No fees. Interest rate is 21.45% I swear I am trying to be good I really am but I need to stop being tempted. Merrick Bank is the one that backs Hooters cc isn't it? Aren't they really good about increases?

Your membership would be legit. As for your roommate, as long as you are sharing the same physical address when the account is opened he will not have a problem. Surely NFCU wouldn't expect roommates to live together forever. You all should go into together and join. We just might! I'm just trying to get everything straight with my aunt and uncle. I just had an epiphany this weekend in that they don't necessarily need to open an account, just them working for the airforce makes my mother eligible! Just to verify, they only soft pull, and Chex victims are OK, correct? No they do hard pulls. I don't know about chex systems but I do know they def. do hard pulls.

Yeah mine says it has been available since 12/5 but I am up 8 points. Thought I would take a big dip due all my inquiries the past month but I guess not.

Its tricky buy somehow mine went through. Maybe they will extend it with all the problems people are having. I just tested it out. Did it 5 times then the screen popped up. It is def. being finicky. I click between account services then balance transfer then I go back and hover over account services tab and it finally comes up.
