I can't see the light at the end of the tunnel anymore...
Imanevilpoptart replied to fixboot's topic in Credit Forum
You ROCK for taking care of your daughter! (You SHOULD, but so many peeps don't) Because of WHY CHAT, I am free of medical collections, as is my husband! You may be taking on too many things at once. Work on the support and get rid of those medicals! It will be a great feeling to see those go poof! -
Tu deleted! So thankful for your help WhyChat!

Bought a new car n score dropped 40 points
Imanevilpoptart replied to Maizerulz's topic in Credit Forum
I've been tracking my dh's scores very closely.....purchased one auto in Jan, lost 7, purchased one last month, lost no points. His scores are 670 range. Forty is a lot of points to lose, but congrats on the auto! -
Paid Medical Bill, HOT MESS!
Imanevilpoptart posted a topic in Medical Billing & Medical Collections
January 2012 surgery. Between co-pays, etc $10k out-of-pocket. Last bill from hospital was incorrect. Resubmitted to ins. co. While waiting on correct bill, hospital sent to collections. Received corrected bill. Told CA that I was going to have to take out a loan as I was 'tapped out'. They agreed to $100 monthly payments at 0% interest. What they DID NOT say was that they would report to TU and EX after 60 days if NOT pif. I finally paid them a LUMP sum of $1300 last month. They reported to TU after I made the final payment. EX was reported at 60 days. What-to-do? -
Low inquiries, two automotive, one pottery barn all in 2013. They did approve the auto, but dealer matched the percentage.

100% ontime payments. It was just recently pulled out of DMP. Thanks for answering!

Two.five years ago DH injured his back and couldn't move for months. I had to list NFCU in our DMP...... FF to today, back to great health and things are better than ever. We were able to pay off all debts except for the balance on NFCU $3k to date. DMP has been cancelled as NFCU is only debt remaining. Sold our old home and paid cash for new place. Scores are +40 higher than when accts by NFCU were originally opened. In anyone's opinion, will NFCU either A) reopen the old account or issue a new card and roll the 3k onto this card? I can go ahead and pay off that remaining $3k. Just interested in thoughts or opinions. Thank you all so much!

Bought a car in Jan, the scores were +40 on TU and EQ. Got 3.9 for pre-owned, but 2.9 would be better. Ford pulled all 3 bureaus. EX was in the tank, lol. -

Well, scorewatch doesn't give alerts to Ca deletions....hence the problem. I don't want to waste $19.95 per week. I'm going to buy a car in August and want the best score I can get, of course!!!!! -

Yes, it's been deleted on EQ. By 'lagging' I mean catching up on the next SW -

I pulled a FICO EQ report on 6/17/13....CA still there. Score 620 Received +5 today, paid down a CC. Now, if that CA removal has been caught by FICO, Would I have received MORE than the +5, such as the 35 loss and the 5 gained to =40 ORRR Not sure how this works, but it's a bunch of B.S. Fico S/W seems to be lagging by 10 days OR MORE! thanks for your help btw! -

See that's what is so ridiculous! A CA suffers no harm for making these 'errors'....unless I file against them and cause them $35 worth of trouble! Since I'm paying down my cards every month, there should be no ill effect once this is removed. -

Just wondering when FICO will catch up (they seem to be behind) and will I get those 35 points back? -

I received a score watch alert to the collection, resulted in a loss of -35 pts. I called the CA and they admitted to the error, agreed to delete and provided me with the 'code' after their deletion was processed. According to them, it takes 7-10 business days. And NO, my utilization has been coming down each month. According to EQ (called) the collection isn't there. So, it was deleted.
