When opening a checking account, they access information from your credit report to verify your identity, but it does not show up on any credit report. They don't use chexsystems. However, if you are applying for a credit card through them, then they will do a hard pull.

Just FYI. I have read many places that US Bank will give people a second chance in opening a bank account - That's true as long as you don't owe them money; US Bank does in fact use Chexsystems, they were the ones that put me on there in the first place, otherwise I would have never heard of it.
