  1. I received the letter today and immediately closed it.
  2. Comerica Visa Platinum 2,500 Chase Slate 2,000
  3. AMAZON REWARDS VISA 1,000 CITI DIAMOND PREFFERED 500 I had allocated 3500 from my CITI PLATINUM SELECT to make it 4,000 which is fine because I am going to take advantage of the 0% balance tranfer for 21 months down the line.
  4. Three weeks ago I applied and was approved for the Amazon Rewards Visa with temporary cl of 1k.Since I have a couple of Chase accounts,it showed up with the 1k as my limit and as of today it is still 1k. Before I applied I did read posts from posters who have the card said that the temp credit limit can be a hit and miss.
  5. I just called to cancel and was offered the half price deal. I've be a member for only 3 months and the service is better than the other sites I've tried.

    WTF Macy's

I'm wondering if this has anything to do with Citi's changing over the accounts to GEMB.I've read that Citi will service the accounts until the first quarter of this year.......just a guess.

  9. I have a Household card with a cl of 5k(max)no annual fee that I've had for over five years. when i opened it, HSBC was pretty good with cli with this card and Orchard depending which version you had(basic, gold and platinum).just recently Household offered a premium platinum card that offered 1% cashback but took it down for some reason.
  10. You handle the situation graciously and i applaud you for it. I wish i could get the tape to that call and send it to the writer of that survey that came out about American Express being no. 1 and just being sarcastic and say they are no. 1 indeed
  11. I called last week for a cli and told them i was looking to buy some expensive furniture and the csr said let me see what we can do and walla here you go a 500 cli bringing my cl to 1200, I immediately threw the card in my sockdrawer
  12. Today I received and email from Chase stating: We are making enhancements to your Chase Freedom® credit card. Your card will now earn points instead of rebates. I'm kind of new when dealing with reward cards and wonder if this is a good or bad thing?
