  1. Highest APR is generally the way to go, but with such small balances, I'd suggest - unless you have a ridiculous high APR - that you pay the lowest off first, at $275, then the $277...it'll be easier.
  2. I've had the same mistake w/ Express - It was due on 10/1, and I accidentally scheduled it for 10/11 - simply typo, I called they removed late fee, and like other person no bureau post until after 30 days.
  3. I use Capital One's all the time - even managed a free trip to Hawaii and free rental car. When I complained how my extremely long layover to the island interfered w/ my plans and my vacation, they refunded me. When Alamo over charged me by 4 days, they refunded me....its been great
  4. I'm HIT!!! I got an automated call today from AmEx, they lowered BOTH my cards to $1000, said there is a letter in the mail.... GRRRR! I was on AX's side all this time, so disappointed....i haven't used either card since Jan, so today I booked my hotel for Easter, and BAM! About one hour later I get the automated message, call them up, ask them why, they said my recent 'review'...i can NOT fathom what it could have been!?!?!? But I assume b/c I opened the Macys card back in Feb...well, i had to register for the wedding...anyhow... it hurts....like the BEAST of Breed hit me in the heart....hard....
  5. TTT
  6. is it just for the Visa version?? I got a RED macys last month...
  7. Where else are your debts coming from OP? With the special needs son, are you able to tap in to more government assistance? Perhaps a non-profit organization that specializes in the 'need' will have some sort of relief fund?
  8. **Money orders are like this...and people who have reaaally fancy checks w/ too much color / design.
  9. If you want basic bare bones trading....you dont need options...i own 10 shares of Starbucks...i look at the "Snapshot" everyonce in a while...thats about it...Oh and I do my part and buy coffee.
  10. It can get pretty techy, and lost in all the bank-jargon..BUT with E-Trade, you transfer money like normal... wait for funds to clear.... type in your stock quote..IE Sbux = Starbucks... Enter Quantity, then click Buy..But it costs $12.99 per Trade.. So lets say you buy 5 shares of Sbux....then decide later you want 10 more...you will pay $12.99 twice... No minimum of shares to buy.
  11. I didn't read much into this thread after the first couple posts...i thought it was hilarious...b/c I have started spending my weekends drunk off wine and sake, (due to high prices of bar & clubs, I can just buy a bottle and stay home) with my fiance' and we crack up at SNL & Chelsea Lately.. And no, he hasn't beaten me.... But I DID have a bit of hit and run....I was wombling to the bathroom, and Ran into the door...i left the scene of the accident....
  12. E-Trade, only about $12 a trade, and thats it... deposit money, pick your stock.....and thats it
  13. Is this all CU's or in particular Military CU's? I plan on adding my Fiance to PenFed...but leery now...could it have something to do with deployment and leaving the AU responisble???
