Hello all, need some advice/assistance on goodwill situation with Chase. Basically, they reported me as late Feb 2011 and June 2012. These were both due to ( I believe) errors/issues on their end with signing up or auto-payments. I obviously did this so I wouldn't need to worry about signing on and making manual payments. If you're wondering why I am just getting to the Feb one now that was almost 2 yrs ago, well I had a lot going on at that time and it fell to a back burner. After the first time of trying to set it up and having it screw up (feb '11), I decided to just do manual payments from then on out. Then, I finally decided to give it another shot, and low and behold, AGAIN it failed, and I didn't realize it until the collection notice from Chase arrived in the mail, but by then it as too late-marked as late on CR (again). I know I finished clicking through all the steps and hitting submit (I work in IT, so I am very diligent on making sure I do). I just have to believe it to be an error (technical I suspect) on their end. I had another card with them (now closed) that I was NEVER late on, and currently a mortgage, which also never late on. Long story, short-I wrote them a letter through PFB (that I believe was sent to the CEO) explaining all the above and a lady in Exec Relations got back to me and said their "internet team" looked up my account and couldn't see where I had clicked thru to sign up for it..I wasn't aware they had the ability to actually SEE EVERY CLICK/KEYSTROKE you on on their website, but apparently they can. I still disputed this and swore I had tried to sign-up for it, TWICE. Why would I be late sporadically (2x) on a simple credit card, yet never late once on my previous card or my mortgage? Doesn't make sense. So she said unless I can call their internet team back and have them walk me through the steps and IF it errors out then they'll remote the late's Issue with that is, I know it probably won't error out and they obviously won't remove it. Does anyone have any advice (or maybe even a contact at chase) I can reach out, or something of the sort to get these 2 late's removed? I'm not sure if Jamie Dimon (CEO) actually saw my letter, but I'm willing to write more-just not sure who since this is obviously the highest level person in the company.
