Just received my reply to my second GW letter, They indicated they don and will not alter the TL in any way. Also said that since this was their second reply to me, any letters I send in the future will not get any responses. Im tempted to just keep sending the letters for as long as this paid in full after charge off TL is still alive. It drops off in exactly 2 yrs. I had adressed my letters to the CEO. Any one been lucky with Cap 1 GW

In this case, if the tradline were removed I would be just fine with it. It is attached to some 30 day lates, but since all their auto loans were transferred to Santander, Santander is reporting this account as well with no lates. So maybe I will "jack attack" the hsbc tradeline. A few months back at the suggestion of another poster, I disputed HSBC Auto online with all 3 bureaus. They all deleted the whole TL. TL was paid in full buth with a bunch of lates. You might want to try that too. Good luck. Had a paid off but with lates HSBC Auto finance TL that was due to fall of in 2014. Past 2 years i sent over 100 GW letters to every possible HSBC address I could find, including their main headquarters in London England. Of course never got GW. All I would get was paperwork to fill out. Fast forward to 2011. Read a post on CB from Ray Angel who had at that time gotten her whole HSBC w/ lates account deleted. With her help, I disputed the TL online w/ the CRAs and now one CRA-- Equifax -- has deleted the account entirely. No trace of it. Still waiting for conclusion of investigation from EX and TU. For those with HSBC AUTO finance TLs that were never transfared to Santander, and want them deleted, try disputing online w/ the CRAs and use as reason for dispute-- was never late on payments. Thats how I got mine deleted Thanks ray angel for sharing the info

Paid my firestone CC online on Jan 14 using a check. Firestone credited my account for the payment the very next day. Today I see a pending firestone charge on my bank account for that amount. took a whole 2 weeks to clear the bank. Talked to a f/stone rep who says they have been having technical probems pulling the accounts and the prob is fixed. any one else experience this ?

So right! after all the postings in this thread there does not seem to be any positive updates. I have stuck on my CRs HSBC Auto Finance fully paid off but with lates. GW them a lot before they got bought - no luck. Decided now to try yrt again to get this TL deleted. I plan on starting with a request of my EQ paper report then disputing then the follow up guerilla letter. making the call to get my paper report as soon as I finish this post.

Just wanted to know if anyone uses this credit union and what doing business with them is like. I see its located in ATLanta Georgia. Thanks and happy Saturday
