  1. Wow what's the secret? Do you mash luv weekly? No, every 61-90 days or so. Never been asked for POI, just get continually extended. Wish I had a better answer.
  2. I'd say if your Disco is your highest limit, you're simply not trying hard enough with your other cards. Or I just don't have the desire to take potential hard pulls for credit I don't necessarily need. As long as Discover remains a soft pull every 90 days or so, I give it a shot. Citi I try when it's available, the rest would rather make it a chore to get a CLi.
  3. My Discover card is by FAR, my highest limit card. Opened: 10/2012 Current Limit: $61,000
  4. For science, I hit the button again. Last increase was 6/3/15 $20,000 ~~> $25,000 $5,000 Increase No balance at the time, instant CLI.
  5. Congratulations! On 6/21, please let us know what happens. Some people have suggested Discover will want employment verification for CLIs above $20k. Will do. That's the More Card, not the it Card, right? Yes, the original 'More' card. I never messed with the IT card. The More started with a CL of $7,500 I think, back in October 2012.
  6. 5/16 - +1,500 ~> Up to $18,500 6/5 - +1,500 ~> Up to $20,000
  7. After getting the random NASA FCU 'pre-approval' letter in the mail, applying, and receiving an instant $22,100 CL (weird number I know), I got an email from Alliant. I use Alliant for all of my normal Checking account transactions, so figured I was about due to get a card from them. Applied, next day got email for additional information, then approved for $15,00 at 12.24%. Not bad, NASA is 10.9%, but these 2 CLs really were nice, bumped Util from 28% to 19%.
  8. Received a random NASA FCU 'pre-approved' letter today, with 7.9% BTs and no fees. Not a member, but this is interesting enough. I've been gardening for a couple/three years now, but what the heck... Instant Approval of $22,100 (odd number)
  9. Nice, thanks OP. Love the new method much more. Tried on my Citi Simplicity 7400 -> 8600
  10. On Experian, it will say "These are seen by anyone accessing your report". As for permissable purpose, if you have a Mortgage that is in arrears or such, it most likely is permissable.
  11. Like others said, it is Wells Fargo's Mortgage arm. Perhaps Real Estate Lending Services? When we did our house purchase, I had an initial RELS HP on all 3 reports for first approval, then another round of HPs on all CRs at the end.

  13. Dang, ya'll are a bad influence sometimes! Hit the button, went from $7200 ~> $10,000
  14. Wasn't instant for me, either. Heck, I had to call and plead my case before the Freedom was approved. Congrats foe!
  15. 81 month old corpse thread. That is an impressive bump.
