My Nissan lease expired in July of 2010 and I turned the car in. It was over in mileage but I figured they would call me or bill me. I never heard a word. 7 years later Im closing on a house and there is an open/good standing llewse account with Nissan and a balance of $5300. My home loan is in jeopardy until I rectify this. Its on all 3. I called Nissan and they said I owe it. I own another Nissan now but its paid off. I am a loyal customer to one specific dealer for service. Could I ask the GM to help me negotiate this down or would this be out of his territory? Thanks for any advice.

Final payment that Nissan has on file is July 2010. No contact since then.

I have an old Nissan lease showing with a balance. Its from July of 2010. It shows closed but a balance and at the last minute Im being told I cannot close without it being resolved. Closing is Friday on a conventional loan. I called Nissan and they say I owe it, I said I dont. Its out of SOL. What can I do?

Congrats on your daughters achievement. My daughter has always been well above her grade level in reading and now in the 10th grade she is still an excellent student. She has had maybe four B's ever. She is also in her 3rd year of Spanish and takes honors classes. I am a firm believer that getting our kids to read frequently at an early age will help them tremendously throughout their school years.

Thank you so much! This is so terrific. DD is also up against one other student at school to be the designer of next year's agenda cover for her entire high school. It is an accomplishment just to be in her position but if she wins...well, I'll be thrilled for her of course! Thanks again everyone!

This family has touched my family in such a special way. I have always had compassion for anyone with a sick little one but for some reason this little angel grabs everyone's heart. As her her Dad said, "she grows your soul". This family by accident, has allowed their child to "grow our soul" by giving us the chance to know precious Layla Grace. This family still needs financial help, as Dad was laid off at the same time they learned Layla Grace had no hope. Of course continued prayer for this sweet family.

Hi all, Just wanted to add a little F.Y.I. in case anyone is facing an end of lease with NMAC. My scores were not where I would like them and I was due to turn my suv in, in a couple of days. The dealer finance guy was not sure if they would extend my lease so I called. "Yes we will, up to 12 months", no extra fees or credit pull. I'm so relieved. Now I have more time to work on my scores.

I agree. My daughter is a sophmore and next year she starts student teaching. She is in Advanced Placement and Honors classes. She could do without a senior year. She is definitely ready for college.
