I sent out my validation letters a week or two ago now, today I received a reply from F*I*N*G*E*R*H*U*T stating that they received my request, but the account had been sold (and that I need to contact the new agent) - however, the new agent is not reporting on my CR. The listing on my CRs is from a different company (Citi/Finger). What to do? What to do? I really appreciate all of your help - by the way - it has been very beneficial.

Just received my newest Equifax and there is an ALERT on it... it says: File Blocked for Promotional Purposes What does that mean?

I recently sent out a batch of goodwill letters and I received my first responce today - it basically said that lates are lates and they will not remove them (this particular company is paid in full and was in good standing 99% of the time). Is there another recourse?

I've got a quick question about the RR green cards: Does the agent HAVE to sign the card? I've received several now where either there is just a stamped signature (and no printed name) or check mark on agent/addressee, and I've also received them with no signature and just a stamp in the "printed name" box - no date of delivery is filled in or anything. Does this matter?

The new cost to send each first class letter is $5.32. That includes $.42 for postage, $2.70 for CM, and $2.20 for RR.

What product from MyFico are you all purchasing? There are 5 different options from what I can see. I know that there is a thread for discount codes, but it doesn't really say what product to use.

The account in question appears to be Cap One (fuggers!!) 30 days late a few times (I don't remember how I would have paid it anyway). It is reported as Paid,Closed/Current, was past due 30 days.

I think that Experian did it. Are there any laws/regulations regarding that type of issue? Issued a CC at 14. No job. No income. America!

I recently disputed a few addresses and phone numbers on my Experian report - some of it was corrected (thankfully). However, a notice was added to my account that, while true, I would like to know if anybody has any opinion on... The notice simply reads: Your date of birth indicates that credit may have been established before age 18.
