While still crappy, I have a 19.24% on it...the card's best used for their special offers (0% on balance transfers or 0% on Apple purchases).

Mine closed on the 28th and it hasn't updated on TU (CK) yet....

Idk if you guys have noticed, but my statement closed on 03/27 and for the first time since the change, it shows my credit limit. Maybe it'll report now? I only have CK and it hasn't reflected any changes.

I am sure you'll do fine. That is a FAKO Experian score though, right? Your EXP report is squeaky clean, and overall utilization is less than 10%? That's my fico. I'm in the process of obtaining a mortgage and the underwriter gave me my score...and yeah, I only have a balance one card.

You'll likely get a CLI summer or fall of this year on your AMEX, unless the softs throughout that time show high utilization. It sounds like you got one of the lower limits to start your AMEX, which usually happens when the EX FICO is just above 700. If that improves and stays that way for a while you'll likely get an CLI. YMMV. Right now I'm at a 760. I just updated my signature and you'll see the limit is $4k and I my uti is below 10%. I'll keep my hopes up for this summer. Thanks!

So you now have two Macy's accounts, a new AMEX and a store account. Two accounts, one card. Are you asking about a CLI for the AMEX, or the store account? When you say you PIF, charge a lot, are you saying you do this for both the AMEX and the store account, or just the AMEX? Keep doing what you are doing and you'll get a CLI this year. CLI software runs at the end of your cycle, each month, for both accounts. I want a CLI on the AMEX acct w/o having to take a hard for it. I charge on both accounts monthly and pif both as well. I'm happy with my gli w/ the store acct. It's actually higher than my amex lol....

I don't wanna threadjack, but I have a quick question. I just upgraded to the Macy's AMEX on August of 2011. I have treated the account very well since I upgraded. Always pif, charge quite a bit, etc. Any chance of greying an auto clk any time soon? Thanks!

It's too bad their collections department can't hand out CLIs!! I'd kill for one from them.

My limit on that card is $11k. However, whenever I request a cli, I get the form. I bit the bullet once and they told me the same thing...that I was the maximum credit limit for my account. Maybe we should consider a product change?
