  1. Did you include your SSN on the "Authorized Employee Cardholders" section?
  2. Did you already have a Corporate Bank Account at Key, when you applied for the Card?
  3. What is your tenant's mother-in-law's legal right when she slips and falls on the porch? Can she sue? What if she spills 'hot' coffee on her lap?
  4. The state of Utah (which is a Corporation) uses the "Division of Corporations and Commercial Code" to cunduct business under, that is seperate (i.e. a Division or DBA).
  5. Has anyone considered the additional expense of having a Corporation insure the automobile, instead of an individual? My understanding is that the insurance is much more expensive. Moreover, would it be 'co-mingling' funds if an individual officer or director of a corporation were personally paying for the insurance of a company vehicle?
  6. I agree, Fraud is Fraud and always finds the party that intended to do wrong at fault. With that said, you can do anything that is legal, just don't intend to do fraud.
  7. Regardless if you pg something or not if it's not paid it's still coming back to you personally I honestly don't think that the CFO of Delta was held personally liable for all of their debts. Neither the CFO(s) of Sears or K-Mart in the Bankruptcy-Merger. As long as a Corporation is founded in a certain way, an Officer/Employee of said Corporation is not personally liable for mistakes of the Corporation he/she works for - including unpaid debts in the rare and aweful situation of a bankruptcy.
  8. I think this post may have escalated beyond it's original intention of answering the question about a Pitney Bowes VISA. Internal Financing Division, a Division of Pitney Bowes offers the Purchase Power VISA to clients and yes it is often set up as a NET 27 card; however, PBCC which is Pitney Bowes Credit Corporation, a subsidiary of Pitney Bowes Inc sold the Division PitneyWorksSM Business Rewards VISA and Business VISA card operations in 2000. US Bank, which is a division of US Bankcorp obtained the accounts receivable in excess of $300mil. Corporations use Divisions, Entities, Subsidiaries and other 'pieces' to conduct business under - this allows for a corp to stop conducting business in one area, without changing anything but the stockholder of said piece. A division of Pitney Bowes did offer a VISA card for a period of time, and now a division of Pitney Bowes currently offers a VISA product that is used for purchasing shipping materials on NET terms. To be completely fair, Pitney Bowes is the name of the parent company and conducts no business, just as Pepsi doesn't bottle Pepsi, they license the name to divisions, subsidiaries and other companies entirely. These other pieces (usually not owned by Pepsi at all) then conduct business as they see fit, in accordance to their license agreement. Pepsi, doesn't bottle Pepsi - Mountain Beverage does (or some other entitiy). If you review the Fortune 500 list, you'll see "Pepsi Co" and "Pepsi Bottling;" same with "Sears, Roebuck & Co" and "Sears Holdings Corp." So, bottom line is - who cares. Pitney Boes has a VISA. Get it, or don't.
  9. If you want to avoid a Personal Guarantee on each account, a C-Corp is usually the suggested structure - since it allows for a completely independent entity, while an LLC usually requires its members to Personally Guarantee the credit obtained. This is not always the case and each lender is different; however, in our experiance it has been much easier to obtain Corporate Guarnateed credit via a C-Corp than any other entity, including Professional Corps and LLCs.
  10. Please keep in mind that this Line of Credit is personally guaranteed. This is important for anyone seeking to set up seperate credit for the business than himself/herself.
  11. Doesn't Pitney Bowes have a VISA? No PG.
  12. Bump
  13. Champagne MD, What start year does your D&B file show for the Corporation/Business?
  14. You may consider a moving your open accounts to a Mail Box Etc. Or Companies such as the one I 'work for' offer Shared Office space (Not Virtual Office) for a couple of hundred dollars a month.
  15. Someone may want to post Equifax's Business Contact Information, including: Phone: E-Mail: Website: Mailing: So that the rest of us may receive our reports.
