New Car Loan - Couple Questions
TheGodfather414 replied to TheGodfather414's topic in Automotive Financing
Thank you both! Both points make perfect sense. I actually think we were overthinking it slightly. -
Hello My girlfriend is financing a new car in the $20,000 to $25,000 range. We were thinking about paying it off early (12 to 18 months) and thought that would be a good thing. I have read a couple threads that suggest this actually might hurt her credit. Should we just keep it for the length of the loan and make the regular payment? Also, does your score drop once a car is paid off no matter what? Finally, I have seen a few ads that Hyundai has a no payments for 6 months special. That sounds to good to be true, and I have read a few articles in other places that say it is a dealer trick. If the price you agree on, is the same price for the special, is it really a trick? Or what else are they doing that I am possibly missing? Thanks

Miss Jay, how did this turn out? Were you able to get your vehicles? If so, who did you go through?

Vehicles for the Business with PG??
TheGodfather414 replied to TheGodfather414's topic in Business Credit
Thanks for the tips! We will start with one of those. -
Hello My girlfriend and I are starting a business and need two vehicles. She has great credit and does not mind PG'ing the loan. From what I have read here, we will have to do this since it is a new business but down the road when we need more vehicles, a PG will not be needed. We would like to get 2 vehicles, is that possible since it is a new business? By new, I mean we have not even opened our doors yet. Will start July 1st. Any companies better than others? Thanks

DDA checking debit funds via 1LLG

Yes, I am researching now. I thought, incorrectly it seems, that I had to be notified of a judgement. I have no clue who it is, and there is nothing on the court records for this. -
Anyone know who this might be? They cleaned out my bank account today. I called my bank, Wells Fargo, and they said it is still being processed, and they don't have the info as to who it is. BUT THEY TOOK THE MONEY?!?!?! Anyway, any help would be appreciated.

I opened a checking account with bank of america a year and a half ago. My credit was right around 500 and I was also on check systems. So I assume they did not look at things to closely. I have been able to write checks, have my own debit card, etc. I do think some of their fees are high if an iten does not clear, however I have been better about lately than in years past.

Yes I agree, that is a GREAT DEAL!!

@GCA - thanks for moving this to the general discussion. I have had so many credit problems over the years, I forget to come here sometimes. ha!!

That is a good deal with Verizon. Have you had them for awhile? Everyone I know seems to pay more than that for 3 lines.
-
I tried, for some reason everyone I know personally uses Sprint and I had a horrible experience with them. I have heard good things about Verizon, but yes, I also heard they were expensive.

$48 per month per line?!! What?? That is a great deal. I have seen the Straight Talk commercials. I have to look into them. Were you able to keep your number, or did that matter to you? Also, does this include data? Also, is the Nexus a phone? I thought it was just a tablet, but I am always behind on technology these days.
