You can also prepare a blank purchase order and fill it in as you shop. I use an Excel spreadsheet that has my company information including the purchase order account number. I usually look online first for items I think I may want to purchase, insert those numbers and leave additional blank lines in case I see other items @ the store. I've used my IKEA account several times w/out any major issues. I do agree that not every person @ the register is familiar w/ the purchase order account & I always let them know before they begin ringing my items that I am using a purchase order in which case they get a manager or someone else familiar to help with the check-out, takes an additional 5 minutes tops. If it works for the OP then more power to him. He could also request a copy of the document (he is @ Fed Ex Kinkos afterall) after he writes in the tracking number. Let's be real here for just a second, most of these cases never make it to court. If he can provide all of the documentation that proves he sent a letter and whatever other supporting documentation, then he has a valid claim for whatever it is he is seeking. There's more than one way to get things done, just because CMRR is the preferred method of most, doesn't make it the only way.

Family member checked their Macy's & Bloomies account balances and found that both have "0" available. Appears accounts may have been closed. Accounts not closed. First payment was made 2 days late on both accounts and Macy's reduced from $300 to $200, Bloomies from $1000 to $700. Customer service said nothing can be done for at least 3-6 months.

Call them and explain the oversight. Ask them what their policy is regarding debting a payment. If they don't automatically try to get the payment again, make a new draft arrangement over the phone. It's better for you to bring it to their attention than it is to wait for them to take action.

Apply more then one time? I know that, but generally speaking which combo of cards. Example: 1 MC & 1 VISA or do folks have 2 MC's or 2 VISAS. The person I'm inquiring on behalf of has the Platinum MC w/ credit steps.

If I had to guess I'd say any of the gas cards w/ repair shops attached. The BP near me ran my card for the inspection on a new vehicle. I'd also say Sears, they have auto repair shops. Best wishes!
