I have not. I opted in for pre-screened offers awhile back once I was in better shape.

So, I have been squeaky clean credit wise the last few years. I was surprised i received a call on my cell from a JDB today. They were attempting to collect payment on a debt that I dont recall ever having. Something 10+ years old as a matter of fact. I told them I would need all of this in writing and the lady got nasty with me. The call eventually ended and much to my chagrin, I check my report and see a hard inquiry from the same JDB. My first thoughts are that this is attributed to the fact that I recently applied for a mortgage, and also i need to send a C&D immediately to this company. Do i have any recourse regarding this inquiry however? Am I on the right track with the C&D? Thanks CB.
