Update!!! I just received AFNI's response to the BBB and they are deleting!!! Woohoo! It is Afni's desire to work with consumers to assist them in resolving the questions and concerns that they may have about their accounts. In that regard, Afni has closed the underlying accounts and notification will be sent directly to NINA720. Notification will also be sent to the credit reporting agencies with instructions to delete. Bank of America has a payroll deposit card called CashPay, the fees are pretty minimal. I still have mine from back when I couldn't get a checking account to save my life (a couple years back) and I still put about 5% of my paycheck on there to use for internet purchases.

That's too bad for EX, those inqs aren't going anywhere...I wish I would've frozen mine when I was looking for a car last summer, I'm stuck at 20 inqs for the next year or so. Congrats on TU and EQ though, a little B* is always nice

Congrats and thanks for posting this! I DV'd AFNI twice regarding two accounts they have on my CRs. Both accounts should show as IIB but they don't, and they have tons more incorrect info listed. I have sent 2 DV letters over the last two months and AFNI has not even responded, they deleted one accnt from my EX report, but one still remains...my EQ file is so confusing, the accounts may not be there today but they could be back tomorrow. I will file my complaint today and hope they delete as well!

I think the choppage is caused by pulling directly from EQ, either backdoor or via subscription. I canceled my EQ subscriptions a month or so ago and my B* on EQ seems to work just fine. But then again, my EQ file is pretty weird, a lot of things fall off and find their way back on...not just the inqs. Since I stopped pulling from EQ.com, I went from about 36 inqs to 0 inqs...but again that might just be due to other issues with my EQ file so YMMV.

Some of the best advice I've received here was to read PsychDoc's transcripts. If you haven't done that already, please do so before you start any disputes, there's a lot of good information in those transcripts that will help you triage your reports and get started with your credit repair. I just had the same problem this morning! I haven't ordered a free report from EQ in a while but I canceled SW and Gold b/c of all the C* and TC is not showing my accurate EQ file and I need to see it...I guess I will try again later.

Thanks! Yeah, she is learning too! I finally got her to understand that she may not under any circumstances speak to anybody on the phone...ever!!!! Before I found CB, she was setting up payment arrangements with people and not even knowing who the OC was or how she even incurred the debt!!!!

Cool just checked again IRS site again and it now shows DD scheduled for May 9th! YAY!!! FYI, I used TurboTax to file back in February, DD of course.

UPDATE!! NCA deleted on all 3 per truecredit...even checked EX backdoor and it's all clear!!! So cool, I have successfully removed 2 CAs from my mom's reports!!!!!! Only took 1 DV to Credit Protection Associates and 2 DVs to Natl Credit Adj! Thanks everybody for all the info and support!

Congrats on your approval! I tried a couple of months ago and was denied...I'm gonna clean up my reports a bit and try again. Haven't been able to get a preapproval slip to save my life, I shop there at least once a week!
