They did in fact reach me after the first call, then continued to call every ten minutes the same day via a auto dialer. At what point does it constitute harassment? Would it be harassment if I set up an auto dialer to call the same number back all day?

Had this account for 3 years. Always under the limit. Usually PIF. Never Late. Scores very good. No lates anywhere. I use this card for lots of auto pays like website, services, etc. This week I went $20.00 over the limit. THEY CALLED ME EVERY TEN MINUTES TRYING TO GET ME TO PAY THE LOUSY $20!!! Stupid part is I had known it went over and made a online payment, like I always do, to bring the balance down. They obviously couldn't see the auto pay on their side and continued to call every day until the payment showed up. Great customer for 3 years and then treated like a common criminal for a lousy $20.00! What a bunch of butt munchers! Anybody else get treated like dirt by WFFB? PS. thanks for the chance to vent!

To my knowldege, that transaction would be considered an "ACH" transaction by your bank. As far as I know, ACH transactions are reversible for 6 months. Give your bank a call and tell them that this company was only authorized to take $78.00, and NOT AUTHORIZED(emphasis here to be stressed to bank) to withdraw $3100.

I know in the mortgage industry that the mortgage company can do what is called a "rapid rescore" for you rreport to reflect your recent payments. They basically confirm the new data with your creditors and then update with the bureaus, giving you a new score based on the updated information. Don't know if the car finance people can do it. I would assume they could because rapid rescore is a product offered to credit pullers by the credit bureau.

Just another good example of "stay off the phone" Arguing with someone who is calling to collect your late payment to them is like arguing with your mother-in-law, even if you're right, you're wrong . You see the number do the pick & click. Pick it up and quickly click it down.

It's the Nuclear Regulatory Commission...you didn't steal any plutonium did you? Seriously tho.. I couldn't find anything on a search....sure it was NRC? What number did they call from? Any other account info given? Anything close to "NRC" on your credit reports?

I would think the answer is yes. Could take a few months to show though.

Can a CA put your spouses' debt on your report?

Have you deleted old addresses from your CR? And is this collection activity directly from the utility company or from a third party? Perhaps if your old address is on your file and you lived with hubby with same last name during the time the charges occurred that they are trying to say it's yours too. -

Absolutely not. Unless you actually signed for or were listed as a co-applicant on the account. For a definitive answer, what kind of account is it? Who was the Original Creditor? Who is the CA? How old is this account? Does it even belong to your hubby? -
My Juni World card is reporting balance and limit.

Not sure what you mean by "full" balance. I would think the "statement" balance is what was from that particular months transactions (charges minus credits + payments = Statement balance). The full balance would be that month's "statement" balance plus whatever you owed prior would be the full balance. Bottom line is full balance would be what you need to pay to be at zero.

There have been some banks that will add an authorized user and send a card in the AU's name. They will let you specify a credit limit of their own that is a small part of your credit limit. Unfortunately the only ones I can think that do it right now are "business" accounts. I have one through First Equity and put my S.O. on got her own card with small limit of my total limit. It's a "hidden" credit line as it does not show on personal report though. If you are trying to help her credit too then a personal credit card is better route. If you are just rying to help with expenses how about just getting a pre-paid. You can re-load them online. No risk for you there.

Congrats on the instant! Feels good doesn't it? You didn't want WAMU anyway. They did you a favor. The instant feels awesome! As far as the WAMU, I won't ask. I just wanted the free PFICO since my checking account with them does not qualify me for it. I'd rather pay $11.95 a month to TC than to give WAMU my business. Way back they used to be a predatory type lender much like Houshold Finance, with obscene rates and loads of pre-pay penalties. A leopard doesn't change it's spots. Also read on another thread that you can get TC even cheaper thru Walmart.
