Thanks everyone. I got my credit from garbage to perfect thanks to this board. Looks like I'm going to be helping her write some letters.

Hello all. Yesterday at 8am someone rang my sister's neighbor's door bell in order to get access to her apartment. The guy then pounded on her door for 10min. A minute after she saw the guy leave, she got a voicemail from some lady yelling at her to call back and arrange a time to be served legal papers. What should she do? Would going online and disputing the debt right away get rid of those people or should she accept the papers and work on her response? She's worried they're going to come to her work. Thanks!!

Hey thanks for the replies. It does show up as a judgment/public record on his reports. Even on the WI court records page it says SOL is 20 years. Strange. I will say though that with whychat's help I got my judgment off my reports and it had been just over 2 years old.

I was... looking over a friend's shoulder while he was trying to fix his credit.. and I notice his judgment says it will fall off in what would be 7 years instead of the normal 20. Anyone know anything about this?

Damn I only got a 5k limit. Oh well. APR after the intro 0% for 12 months is 7.99%. She said they don't manually give increases and that I'd have to wait until they auto review my account to see if I deserve an increase.

Alright alright.. you guys got me. I applied and was instantly approved. All scores just at 800. We shall see what kind of limit I get.

Merry xmas n stuff! I woke up to an email from TC saying a change has been made to my report. I look and it's the Jared's account I signed up for in early Dec. TC said 804 so I checked with myfico and there it was, 801. I started my credit repair on 10/16/07 and have since increased my scored by 300 points. I couldn't have done it without this great board!! Thanx CB!!

It's a good feeling isn't? I went from like 500 501 and 504 to knocking on 800's door in exactly 2 years. My scores went up 99 points in 1 day after I got a judgment off. Keep it up!

Tis the season I guess. Cap increased me from 800 to 3300. Orchard bumped me from 500 to 700. Last but not least, I applied for Jared's and got the 11,700 limit!!! I was expecting like 3000 at the most! EQ score is 733 thanks to high util.

Just logged in and saw that I went from $200 to $1000 as well. IT'S ABOUT DAMN TIME!!!!

I've been struggling with deductible stuff with these guys. Nobody wants to help me. Nobody cares. I'd like to talk to the CEO or whoever about this so I don't have to rack up a bunch of bills and fire off letters to get them taken care of. I'm trying to give these people money and they won't help me. Please can anyone get me the info? I'm an internet detective pro but I'm so out of it lately I don't have the energy to do it myself. Please?

Mine scores went up 99 points the day my judgment was deleted. It will be interesting to see how much yours increase. Do you have a daily puller? Are you on Truecredit and if so, do you have to wait to get your 3 agency report?
