Is it better to apply online or at a BMW dealership for BMW Financial Services?

I will definitely do that.... I read (somewhere on CB) that it's a soft pull up to 15k and a hard for anything over. I hope that's still the case. I don't remember whether or not they did a soft pull for my increase back in October though THANKS!

I've had the store card a little over a year and I always carry a balance. I called and received a $2,000 CLI back in October with no problem. The CSR told me I could call back in 4 months to ask for another increase but I'm a little hesistant. My current limit is $3,000 with a balance of about $1,400. I would like to jump from $3,000 to $9,000 as well as upgrade to the Visa. Think I have a shot? Or should I ask for a smaller increase maybe $3k to $6k? Think my chances are better with a $0 or lower balance? THANKS!

Thanks for the reply fla-tan! Ok, I will pay down my balances this month and next to get my scores to at least 620 and I will apply for an FHA loan. I know FHA isn't score driven but I just want to get the scores up a little more before I apply. I don't want to be house poor and a mortgage of $2000 will definitely put me there as I have a very active social life. I'm thinking a mortage of about $1200 would allow me to maintain most of my social activities (excluding shopping ) What price range would allow me to have a mortgage of about $1200?

I wrote a letter to EQ and had the last 3 major CO accounts deleted!!! Also 1 BIG one on TU has been deleted as obsolete!! Now I have no lates or derogs for the past 2 years. My problem now is utilization....It's about 80+% , so I know I need to pay down some credit cards. I pulled my FICO's on Monday and they show EQ 613.... TU 610.... EX 599. I'm sure the mortgage enhanced scores will be a little higher as they were when Countrywide pulled the Landsafe report in April.That report showed EX 638... EQ 624... TU 623. My DTI is low as my monthly obligations are about $770 (carnote $465 studentloan $97.26 and cc's) and monthly gross income $6383. I don't have any reserves other than a 401k with a balance of about $6000. I want to use a DPA program in GA, which will provide 10% down payment and 4% towards closing costs. I'm hoping to have the builder pay any additional closing costs. Should I apply now or wait until my utl. is lowered? Also, how much house would you say I can afford? THANKS!

Thanks for your replies! The account only shows up on TU (EX/EQ deleted after I disputed, but TU verified and updated ). I called TU today and asked when will it delete. They state it will fall off on the date the creditor stops reporting(???). I will send an OBSOLETE letter and hopefully it will work. I have 1 other on EQ that's due to be removed 7/2008 (well DOLA is 7/2001), 1 DOLA 11/2001 and 1 DOLA 12/2001. I'm going to send EQ obsolete letters for those 3 also...Wish me luck

Hi all, I have a CA that is scheduled to be removed (per my TU report) as of 6/2008. Will it be removed 6/1/2008 or 6/30/2008? Thanks

I disputed EVERY baddie (probably 15 or so) last November (pre CB), and most were deleted, I think I could have gotten them all deleted had I researched CB before hand!!! Oh well, I'm disputing the remaining on TU right now that's why they put the 90-day FA on. They didn't follow suit with EQ & EX last year. I think EX & EQ have been downgraded to 90 day recently. I wonder if it's because of the new app's?

I have a 7 year FA on EQ & EX, 90-day on TU and I have been approved for the following all last month: Macy's Bloomies AMEX Delta Skymiles Target Nordstrom's (I hope!!!!!!) Still in the 7-10 days of the waiting game

OMG!!! I thought it was just me the same thing has happened to me this week but it's on my TU report!!!!! I had to fax a copy of my SS card, but I'm supposed to wait 5 days for processing before I can call back for status. I too have a copy of the last investigation results and post-investigation CR from them. I hope it won't take much to straighten this out

Hi all, Has anyone been successful with instant approvals (in-store) with a Fraud Alert on their CR? I'm thinking of trying Macy's/Bloomies, since EX just deleted 2 CA...EX FICO 635 (from myfico.com 10/10/2007).
