1 experience does not equal the institution as a whole.

Had a $200 card for 6 years now and no increase. Tried it all, PIF, left a bal, etc.... It's getting closed soon.

Anyone get cap1 to combine accounts after the conversion? -
I have 2 old old baddies on there I have just ignored since they popped back up 6 months ago (yes, yelling at me is ok here) I applied and was approved. No mention of them from the UW, super friendly, personable. I highly recommend them. Now, we will see if I can find a house to buy...

Holy thread bumped from death....

My target card is still stuck at $200. 5 years running. It may get chopped up after the holidays.

i've almost exclusively been using NFCU for banking, but I really like USAA's site. Anyone use them for primary banking needs?
-
A gophers fan? O no.... You from there? My wife was a gymnast at the U... And thank you
-
Then my mother-in-law remarried and I was allowed to join USAA..... Easy membership to apply for and fund the account. The rep then immediately offered me their cash rewards amex (I have never had an amex branded card) at the lowest rate (9.9% APR) with a CL of $16,500. So after 3 years of not applying for anything... I was sucked in. The rep then read me my score, surprised me as I have not checked in quite some time, 781 EQ. From someone who was in the mid-500's 5 years ago to now qualifying for almost top tier rates... Thank you creditboards. I am officially still a credit junkie.

They will still stay on his report for 7+ years. So why not? Time to cull in the collection once you've achieved good credit and get rid of those AF, low limit cards.
-
Nope. And despite what the guy making fun of me earlier thinks, I actually am a network admin that owns my own IT company... I am dumb founded. There isn't a single other web site on the internet that doesn't work for me, but something about NFCU's site and my home network are broken Do you have any static routes setup? Tried cycling your router/firewall (Not sure which devices you are using, since you are in the business we all have crazy setups sometimes!) Maybe post a tracert and we will compare some notes. Def to me sounds like it's a comcrap routing problem. They are known for their horrible network configs on both the personal and business side of connections. Best of luck!

1.79% at NFCU as well. For up to 60 months that is.

HUGE news - New site for FICO Credit Scores and Reports
ClarkeCO replied to Android01's topic in Credit Forum
I just checked and there is a big red "sign up today" flag in the lower left corner of the page. Best of all, it redirects to an "https" page. : ) The only other thing they need to fix is the 1 year commitment. Why can't I just by individual scores as I please? https does not make it secure. Although the data may be transferring securely, the site/host itself is still not secure. I will continue to pass. -
Some CC's allow you to BT directly to your checking account (I know Citi, Chase have) But you do not earn rewards on BT from them. Only one I have that I do earn rewards on BT's is from UMB.
