I'm in the same boat as you with Navy. I'm curious, have you tried getting another card with them. My credit and payment record is much better since they closed mine but every time I try they deny me.

April 2013 I will be 5 years. I have opened a savings and checking with them. Hoping this will prove my worthiness when that date comes around. I spoke to a couple of ladies from PSECU and that they both confirmed 5 years. They were actually very nice about it and stated it was nothing due to me but it is their policy for everyone. She also said to not forget to apply 5/2013, lol.

I was approved for an Ally car loan at 16.9%. First payment is due next week. My highest score is TU at 592. I also have a 4 year BK7. Do you think any bank or credit union will approve me for a refi at a lower rate? Or should I just forget it? Do you know if Ally would lower it if I called? Thanks for any insight, just don't know what to do.

Sony Capital One - $500 :clapping: Really didn't think I was going to get it. I have a Cap One secured for $300 since November. I have been using it and paying it off every few weeks. I'm not sure if that mattered. Pulled Equifax and score is only 576. Does Cap One have recons over the phone for higher limits?
