I have 2 paid charge off that are on EQ and EX but off TU. TU file is clean. I need more credit line, which CC company run TU ? Thanks Guys, when I joined Credit Forum many years ago my acore was in mid 500's
  3. She needs to do exactly what they told her - she needs to appeal it and petition for a hearing. A release isn't going to help her because it will simply result in a paid status for the lien. What she wants is to have it withdrawn. To do that, she needs to appeal this decision, which will give her an opportunity to present her case regarding why a release is insufficient. What should i write in the appeal?
  4. I dispute with the CRA many time but the last answer they gave me was "because that you paid dosnt mean that we will remove it from your credit" I have been trying everything but no luck so far
  5. This is the answer Ive got from NYS Dep of State: "Relief from joint liability determination letter. Our review of your request for Innocent Spouse Relief , seperation of liability and/or Equitable Reliefe under section 654 of the tax law for the able year has been completed. We cannot grant your request for the following reason: 1. Your above liability was paid in full prior to receipt of the request. If you disagree and would like further review of this matter, you must file either a Request for conciliation conference with the Bureau of conciliation and mediation service or a petition for a tax appeals hearing with the devision of tax appeals whiting 90 days along with form CMS-1-MN ." CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN ME WHAT TO DO?? I was the one who paid it and now they dont want to approve my spouse relief because of that?
  6. He has 0 debt , 0 loans and he has a home small business, no office space rental, no labor (he is a sole employee) so most of expenses are not real, do you think he can qualify for any mortgage? If he has 2 years taxes he will qualify the question is for how much Until a professional looks at the taxes and adds back in the things that are mentioned above it is impossible to say how much. 20k isnt going to buy much home with a conventional mortgage With that kind of down payment there is hard money but I would only suggest that if desperate. The cost (points) and rate will be very high from that type of source. B Thank You. He said that he can get around 90k in cash and was planing to buy a 150k house not a 220k as I said... He may be fine with 20k a yr if he only needs a 60k loan....what is the average of his income over the last two years on the taxes That is the income number that the banks will use for someone self employed They will want 2011 and 2012 taxes B hank you , last year was the same as this year, around 20k profit (schedule c)

  9. Question. My partner wants to buy a house in NY state for $220k . He has 80K cash saved. His credit score is around 700- 750. Problem, he has a small business and made 150k last year but after taxes he only declared 20k , do you think he can be qualified for a mortgage? if yes, how much will be be qualified for?
  10. He can put me on both but I dont need them both. Which one is better? Amex has no limit so maybe it wont help me?
  11. I need a fast score jump. My boyfriend credit score is around 800, no late payments. He had told me that he can add me as authorized user on his $7000 BOA credit card that he's got for 4 years or his Amex cradthat he is got for lver two years (no limit but he can spend up to $20000) . Questions 1. If we do so will my credit score jump? (again his credit is perfect, zero negative). 2., which card is better to use as piggyback 3. How fast my score will jump? 4. Are they going to run my credit as well?
  12. Would it work on state's tax? Ex husband paid in full, Ive got a satisfaction of debt letter , sent it to CRA but they said they won't remove it just update it to paid. The form that you snt me is it for State tax ?
  13. WOW!THANK YOU VERY MUCH
  14. That being the case, I gave you four other potential solutions and detailed information on how to carry them out. My best advice is to follow one of those methods right away. Thank you for your reply . I found out that this was a State tax and i just paid it in full since my ex wont answer my messages. Any chances of removing it? I just contacted NY state's tax agency and they said they will not remove it and it will stay on my credit for 7 years!!! even that i paid in full. I want to die. he ruined my life .
  15. All excellent advice. It sounds like she was married at the time the taxes were filed. Here's my addition to the advice. It only applies in a very specific situation. I have filed a successful Innocent Spouse Claim with the IRS in a case where the husband and wife were separated when he filed the taxes, he was the sole income earner, and she never signed the return. If all three of those conditions apply (and it sounds like at least two do), you may be able to have the tax liability removed from your account and the lien lifted. unfortunately he wasnt the sole income earner and i did sign the tax forms :-(
